Riverdale High School is a culturally diverse school with over 1350 students in grades 9-12. School programs include College Preparatory, Advanced Placement, Career and Technical Education courses, Honors and Advanced classes, many award winning clubs and student organizations, a variety of sports, Air Force JROTC, Music and Fine Arts classes.

Raiders Take The High Road!!!  9th Grader Sierra Glenn won the Regional 400 Meters in Track.  KunFuzion Girl’s Step TeamState Champs and Grand Master Champs two consecutive years. RHS Boys’ Soccer Team- State Playoffs.  Special Thanks to Coaches : T. Bailey, S. Heron, S. Berry, and J. Spivey

Sophomore Riverdale High School Boy’s Golf team member Joe Philaphet won his 2nd  straight Clayton County Schools Individual Low Medalist as well as his 2nd straight 4AAAA Region Golf Tournament Individual Low Medalist award.  He will once again represent Riverdale High School in the State 4AAAA golf tournament Monday May 7th in Augusta, GA.

Pants/Shorts/Skirts: Khaki, Black, or Navy Blue (shorts and skirts must be three inches above the knee or longer)

Shirts/Tops: Black, White, or Gray (must be solid colored and have a collar)

Riverdale Mock Trial Team members; James Woodall, Alexa Whitaker, Kyla Joiner, Anjelica Barksdale, Marlea Pridemore, Mary Curtis, Gavonta Zanders, Ariana Blake, Anthony Vo, Heather Dumas, Patrick Okolie, Aham Nwosu, Takobia Butler, and  Christopher Harris.  Team Riverdale made it to the Regional Championship and lost a close decision to Jonesboro High School. We would like to extend our congratulations to JHS.  RHS won more team awards than any school in the Regional 8 competition.

James Woodall- Best Prosecution attorney in round 1 and Championship round, also the Julie Jobe Award for Excellence in Mock Trial competition.

Anthony Vo- 2 awards for best witness

Alexa Whitaker- 2 awards for best defense attorney

Gavonta  Zanders- Best defense attorney and closing arguments

Ariana Blake- award for best witness

Heather Dumas- best witness award.

RHS's Ms. Kaylin Wilson (center) was crowned as the Queen of CCPS Miss Elite Pageant for 2012.  Ms. Taylor Brooks (Right)  from Mt Zion HS was 1st runner up along with Ms. Ashley Williams (Left) from Morrow HS as 2nd runner up.  For more pictures see below.
